Noble Nuggets – Finding Peace of Mind

Noble Nuggets – Finding Peace of Mind

Set peace of mind as your highest goal, and organize your life around it. – Brian Tracy

Brian Tracy

Brian Tracy, a successful philosopher, once said: “Set peace of mind as your highest goal and organize your life around it.” This does not mean finding a place where there is no noise, trouble or hard work; it is, instead, the ability to navigate around these distractions so you can find inner peace. In truth, peace begins with you and the only way to truly find peace is by retraining your mind to be at peace, even when the odds are against you.

There are several ways to do this. For one, you need to worry less and be content. This includes doing your best not to worry about the past or be anxious about the future. It means living in the present and finding great satisfaction in what you have. It includes knowing that you shouldn’t worry about things you can’t change because that yields no results.

Secondly, you need to purify your intentions. You can do this by ensuring your intentions are good towards others and being free from resentful and hatred of anyone. Being free from resentment means not holding a grudge against anyone, not arguing with people and not letting people bring you down. It is necessary to avoid negative people, so that they won’t destroy your peace of mind.

There is no greater wealth in this world than peace of mind. By prioritizing your peace of mind, you have the ability to remain calm and collected in all situations. At Noble Hall, we encourage our students to find peace of mind even in the most stressful situations. After all, as the famous saying goes: “All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.”
