Curriculum

AT NOBLE HALL, IT GOES

Beyond Learning

In tandem with our vision which is to enrich girls’ lives through a world-class, holistic education developing leaders of tomorrow; our curriculum emphasis surpasses mere acquisition of knowledge. It is aimed at a thorough comprehension and application of learned content. The appropriate learning modes and processes put in place will ensure the development of learners who can apply independent and critical thinking skills wherever they find themselves around the globe.

Personal Discovery

We offer robust pastoral care and mentoring programmes, sporting activities and clubs, as well as providing for the social and spiritual needs of our learners. Towards this end, we are continuously looking for ways to improve the quality of learning at our school.

We look even deeper

The Assessment

Assessment is a very crucial aspect of teaching and learning at our school. Our learners’ progress is continuously assessed via weekly unit tests, to give both ongoing feedback; formative assessment; and to provide a score/grade; summative assessment. At the end of each week, learners have a mini-assessment on the subject matter covered during the week. They are then given feedback and teachers re-teach concepts through planned intervention, as required. Learners also have assignments to complete.

There are two major assessments each term; the half-term and end of term progress check. All assessments are recorded and they provide a framework for continuous evaluation. This allows the school to provide parents with balanced evidence of their daughters’ progress at our planned parent-teacher conferences.

At Noble Hall, We Understand

Special Education Needs

We understand that individuals have unique learning peculiarities, therefore we subject all our learners, once admitted to the High Ability Selection Test (HAST), this enables us to identify their special educational needs as well as the best ways they can be reached and Individual Education Plans (IEPs) are prepared to adequately cater for them, thereby maximizing their innate potentials.

Also, those in need of extra assistance as a result of their learning gaps join the remedial academic assistance programme to get support after regular classes, for 3 days each week. Support classes have a low teacher to learner ratio and are tailored to meet the needs of the individual learner. Teachers guide their learners through the process of self-assessment and target-setting. Regular reviews take place between the teacher and the concerned learner.
