CHRISTIAN WORSHIP ACTIVITIES

Christian Religious Studies (CRS) in Noble Hall is designed to achieve many goals in the lives of the Christian learners, from learning about God to acquiring moral values which shape human behavior. These values are embedded in the stories and events recorded in the bible. CRS helps to develop positive attitudes and virtues, which help in coping with challenges of life, and contributes to the spiritual development of the learners.

The CRS classes are very lively and interactive. Learners are broken into discussion and activity groups. Lessons are paused to assess learners’ assimilation; evaluations are conducted after each treated topic and good performance rewards are given to encourage the learners. Learning materials for classes include the Bible, internet, videos and Christian literature. Quizzes, games, songs and mnemonics are also used to aid learning.

The extra-curricular worship services and Bible Studies are incredibly fun, whilst still fully focusing on Christian beliefs. Two Pastors visit the school weekly; one conducts the Sunday morning worship service and the other leads the Friday Praise and Sunday evening Bible Studies. From time to time, guest Pastors also visit. The students learn new praise and worship songs on Fridays, and anchor the Sunday worship service, whilst sometimes doing the preaching themselves! Fortnightly, the students can also attend Sunday services in the big Chapel of a neighbourhood university.
