What We Teach

Our target is to avail all our learners with access to the best skills, strong moral values and worldwide educational exposure thereby, creating a cadre of leaders who will become global citizens and make a significant contribution to the lives of others.

Key Stage 3

Key Stage 3 has been planned to provide a strong foundation for success for all learners through to their final years.

Key Stage 4

The Key Stage 4 is our Senior School, we believe in developing 21st century leaders by providing a well-balanced education.
There is continuing support through all the learners’ years at the Academy targeted to enriched them with 21st Century skills such as Enterprise Skills, Problem Solving Skills and Study Skills.

See what each Key stage entails

At year 9 learners are entered for Secondary Check Point in three subjects- 1st Language English, Mathematics and Science. A learner is considered to have passed the Check Point if she achieves 3.0 in each subject.

Stage 3

During these three years in the Junior Secondary School, learners study the following subjects: 1st Language English, Mathematics, Science (Biology, Physics and Chemistry), Technology, Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Business Studies, French, Arabic, Islamic Religious Studies/ Christian Religious Studies (IRS/CRS), Art & Design and History; with enrichments such as Leadership, Food Technology and Physical Health and Social Education (PSHE). 

Stage 4

We believe also that the learning process is a continuous activity which occurs throughout the life time of an individual; this should therefore encourage global critical thinkers who will explore and experiment within and outside the walls of a classroom. During the three years, learners have the option of choosing 10 subjects from which are a combination of WAEC and IGCSE. We enter them for a minimum of 6 and 9 IGCSEs and WAEC respectively offering them pathways to several careers.

At Year 10

Our Learners will have to offer 9 subjects. These will include two core subjects: English Language and Mathematics; and one compulsory Science subject with 7 option choices.
